Hmmm... a paragraph about one's self? I suppose I'll have a bash.

I'm Chicago born and bred, so naturally, I have lived in New York and Florida, and I'm moving to LA soon. (Possibly before the month is up. Who knows?!?) I'm a published author (under a pseudonym) and poet, but my main focus is on music. I play seven instruments, some more fluidly than others, and I sing. When I get to LA, I'll be working in a studio that produces major label acts, such as OKGo. (Yay!)

I discovered Oscar Wilde quite by accident when I was looking into quotations to butcher for a homework assignment that was already a month late. I never finished the assignment, but I read "...Dorian Gray" and fell in love with his wit.

When I began writing songs in earnest, I made a serious effort to sharpen my wit, but I realised that much of what I was writing sounded false, contrived. When I started letting myself free flow a bit more was when I began really showing my own wit-- lines like "If you acted your age you would crumble into dust" or titles like "Abstinence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder."
